The Dante Basco story.
Note: I’m a terrible writer, but here’s a somewhat short story :D Sorry that it’s rushed and cheesy.
While pillaging through all the post on tumblr, Dante got bored and finally refreshed the page. There in the corner of the screen was a red square with a white number one it. He had gotten yet another message, most likely from an adoring fan. Clicking on it, the inbox page loaded and before his eye was the most glorious and idealistic message he has ever received. “Dante Basco stars in Dante Basco as Dante Basco.”
The idea began to blossom in his head, but no, this can’t be an alone project. Letting this project settle in his mind a moment, he made a post about it. Immediately getting response. Wonderful idea after the next of how this story would be. One tumblr-er after the next would message him, and soon this little idea was in full bloom. He gathered all the ideas in a post and tried to sort them out. All of them were so good, but he was looking for that one that would pop out.
After a few hours of searching, he had almost given up hope and then there it was, shining like gold was the perfect plot to his story. The piece was written beautiful and plot was like no other. He messaged the tumblr user and asked to work on a collaboration with him. She accepted and here was the start of a beautiful story line.
Dante and this tumblr user met up to work out all the details of the story. Dante couldn’t believe this girl, she was absolutely brilliant. How she’d lay out ideas in front of him, telling him everything in such great imagery he could almost see it right in front of him.
The meeting he and this girl had become more frequent and the story was coming along beautifully, so quickly and swiftly that it became a matter of Dante trying to find any excuse he could to meet up with this girl. He started to wonder if she was catching on, but if she was, she wasn’t showing it.
Until one day, this girl hadn’t replied to any of his texted or called back. He began to worry and decided to go to her house. He pulled up to her house and went to the door, only to find a note on it. “If you want to see her ever again, drop the story of under the bridge at midnight.”
Dante’s heart began to race, this wasn’t good he thought to himself. A plan was forming in his head, he didn’t know why or how but he knew that he had to absolutely save this girl. Running back to his car, he thought it be better not to call the police just yet, he had a plan that would save her and the story.
Midnight rolled around and Dante made his way to the bridge, keeping weary eye on all the surrounding. He finally came made it on the bridge, where he laid the story and began to walk away. Finding a bush, he hid behind it and waited until he heard a voice.
There coming from road above the bridge was the girl and the man who had kidnapped her. Dante felted his heart jerk as he heard her muffled scream of pain, but he knew he had to wait for the right moment. The man bent down to pick up the story and Dante to action. He silently but swiftly ran from behind the bush attacking the man from behind. He gave a roundhouse kick to the man’s head and watch him fall to the ground. The man was out cold. Dante then took a rope and tied the man up.
Grabbing the story and the girl he ran for cover and called the police, who arrived shortly. Turns out the man was actually a girl and was known for stealing. He untied the girl who helped him write the story and he was rewarded with a kiss.
Dante was hero, he saved the day, the girl, and the story.
“This sound like a pretty good story to start with” Dante said as he finished reading the very rough draft of what was to become his movie.
“We’ll need to elaborate on some things though.” The girl from tumblr said.
“Agreed.” Dante said as he couldn’t help to wonder how he’d fallen in love with such an amazing women.
